What is Google War

Google war is competition in searching on internet. Google is most popular searching tool on internet nowadays. The name “Google War” was chosen concerning the number of competitors. The whole competition will be realized in one evening at one place. That evening the Google war will strike and only one of you will be the best.

Searching on internet is the fastest way to find out a right answer on even very difficult questions. However, there is too much information on internet. Who can find out a correct answer as first is the winner. One of the goal of this competition is to show the importance of choosing a right keywords. Keywords are the strongest weapons in this war.

The idea of Google war competition raised up in heads of the Room 402 members in January 2009. The first GOOGLE WAR “GOOGLE WAR I” was held  on April 22th 2009. Group "Room 402" is part of the Radio9 - Internet radio of Technical University in Kosice.

Google war is organized by the Radio9. The competition protection was guaranteed by the prof. Ing. Liberios Vokorokos, PhD – dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, TU in Kosice. Competition is financially supported by the Student Committee Jedlikova 9. Technical support is provided by the PC Club J9 and Student TV J9.

The beer and cofola will be drawn for free also for not competitors.

GOOGLE WAR II will start at April 21th 2010, 19:00 in Jedlikova 7 in Kosice. The map.

Free Wifi internet will be provided in the competition place. Charge boxes for notebooks will be also provided. Limited number of the beer and cofola for thirsty will be provided.
